Good news, UVMC was asked to be the sister hospital for Hopital Adventiste in Haiti! We plan on going back next year with a different focus of helping to educate the medical team at the hospital. We also have plans to relocate the orphanage within walking distance to the hospital and to expand it so that it can include boys. The Ukiah team will be able to volunteer at both places.

Fundraising events:

-THe Ukiah Medical team will be holding a slideshow tonight at UVMC in the OB conference room from 7-8pm.

-We will also have a booth at the Sierra Nevada Music Festival. The festival is fri, sat, sun. We will be raising money for the orphanage and for the Ukiah team to continue their relief efforts. www.snwmf.com


-August 21st we will be holding an all day fundraising event at the Nelson Ranch. The event is sponsored by a few generous donors so every single penny donated will go directly to rebuilding the orphanage. More information to come!
